Blue cold Christmas

How was Christmas? What did you do?

Despite the holiday season,road was still filled with heavy traffic everywhere. 

 

Christmas was slightly quiet for me but that didn't hold me back from dressing up for the season & munch on my favorite bites [since there wasn't any Turkey].

The cafe was rather not full like the usual days.As if a prick of needle could sound like an explosion.

A shout out to Mother! Happy belated birthday!We may have different opinion at times but my love has not change for you. The patient to deal with my tantrum throughout my upbringing & the values you bestowed into my life are greatly appreciated. I am grateful for the effort you made to provide the best . May you have many more birthdays ahead.

Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK)  & Sarawak Tourism Board has launched the 'Isthmus Christmas' :Snow in Ririk Kingdom with the lighting of Isthmus Christmas 15m tall tree.

Inspired by the Shining Stars of Bethlehem

The Isthmus Christmas:Snow in Ririk Kingdom starts frpm 16-31st Dec 2011 with activities ranging from the

Beer garden, with snow failing, cold temperature while sipping either local or foreign brews beers with classical Christmas carol plays as background.

The Christmas bazaar selling assortment of festive gifts like snow globes,christmas stocking etc. There's also Santa town,build a bit similar like the gingerbread houses in fairy tales with little wooden windows to peep through. The town is open from 1600 hours to 1000 hours daily.

There's even a train for you photo taking lovers to snap in!
BCCK has pastries & cakes to complement the jolly Christmas celebrations.

BCCK will be rolling the 2012 new year countdown party with Happy hour session from 1700 hours to 2100 hours with no cover charge while latecomers from 2100 hours to 0100 hours will need to pay cover charge of RM25,which includes a choice o drinks.

Studio 23: DMAS Rocks!

Remember I told you,there was an upcoming dance musical happening!? I was there!Were you?

Having  backstage passes was really something! You get to talk to the dancers & see their costume closer before the show. [ Where you can only see them far like a match stick size from the seating] & during the show. What more to say No photography/videography during the show!

The 1st show started off with an Arabian fairy tales [I love fairy tales!]. Above picture are only 3 tribe princesses out of 5! [L - R:Tribal, Pirates & Air]

Thriller dance was the semi finale of the show which was pretty good! The sound system & lighting was as if you were seated in a 3D musical show!And their youngest dancer was as young as 5 years old.

The finale of the show ended with an Aeriel silk dance which I usually sees it only on TV.

Overall, the show was OUTSTANDING! Like i've said earlier, the sounds & lighting + the performances was as if you were seated in a 3D musical dance show. Its standard & quality equally like an international dance show choreography & planned professionally!

It is a definitely capital WHOAA!

Dance me A story by Studio 23

The second dance production by Studio 23, Dance Me A Story will showcase up to 100 performers in our biggest show to date!

"An Arabian Fairy Tale", in which you'll travel around the world with Belly Dance Princesses!

"Stronger", where Modern Jazz and Flamenco dancers will battle it out on the dance floor like the movie 'step up'

This upcoming show is to support the Sarawak Women for Women Society, and raise awareness of domestic violence.

Join them this November 6th to see the incredible performances!


Note: The show will start at 8 p.m. sharp. The doors open at 7 p.m. for seating. There is no food served at the show, but BCCK will be opening a concession stand, where you can buy food and drinks.

Elizabeth Kiing Beads & Accesories Charity Dinner '11

Elizabeth King Charity Dinner and Dance which was held at Crown Square last Friday.It was a themed event of TGIF & dress code of the 80's. Also attending was Datuk Yong Khoon Seng. 

The said dinner held aim to collect donations for numerous charities.[includes Autism society, Mental health organization and fire victims from Bau district village]

It was indeed plenty to shout about including jewelry & a fashion show.

A special 'Elvis' appearance & 'Clif Richard'

 Claudia Fay who sings like a nightingale & a boutique ownwe for Claudia Fay's stage collection.
