Sabah Baa ♥♥

Photobucket

I ♥ SB! [Sabah Borneo Ba] Because they've got GLORIOUS choice of SEAFOODs!
*big wide smile*

Photobucket

Swordfish is KK's landmark.

Photobucket

Can you tell what are this?
Photobucket

Fresh Seaweed. Up close looks like frog's eggs.

Photobucket

Big prawn & squids *Yummmehhhh* @ waterfront, KK

Photobucket

Add bits of either Salt, Ajinomoto, chili 'padi' or lime makes a good spicy sambal.

Photobucket

Clams @ Kampung Air

Photobucket

Deep fried salted prawns @ Kampung Air

Photobucket

Stim red fish in soya sauce @ Kampung Air

Photobucket

Lemon grass crabs @ Kampung Air

Photobucket

Mixed Kueh Tiaw @ Suria Sabah

Photobucket

Boat ride to the islands @ Jesselton point.

Photobucket

Mamutik island is over rated. I still prefer Manukan & Sapi island because the water's saltier because I find the facilities & choices of food there better.

Photobucket

1Borneo is a shopping haven.Travel partner complaint about legs went jelly Underwater sea world in 1B is not open yet.Too much to see,to little time to shop.

Photobucket

Suria Sabah is only 40% filled with stores operating.Metrojaya monopolized most of the floors.Food courts are fully operating though.

Photobucket

Aside from all the glorious seafood, breezy wind & sunny weather perfect for tanning and the nightlife ,they've got more choices of Italian cuisine too!So yea, KK still stand top among my sweet escape list.

Mabuhay to the The Philippines- Part 3

The Capital City of The Philippines- Manila.

Photobucket

Intramuros, literally means within walls.

Photobucket

Memorial Park for Jose Rizal. These figurines are made of metal in actual size.

Photobucket

Execution of Jose Rizal. Go google for more info. on who is Jose Rizal. I've told you Philippines has very interesting history.

Photobucket

Pony ride made available in the park with a minimum pay of course.

Photobucket

The guard dressed in olden days Spanish attires guarding The Intramuros.
Guns are loaded,alright.

Photobucket

Top of Intramuros I am at.

Photobucket

Part of Intramuros is open up to golfers. So,watch out for Flying Golf balls :)

Photobucket

Intramuros used to be a fort, which explains why there are real canons found around the high thick brick walls.

Photobucket

A very very long walk around Intramuros as if its the wall of Philippines. *sweats*

Photobucket

Current Intramuros is now roots of some of the higher education institutions in the Philippines. Colegio de San Juan de Letran

Photobucket

The technical school MapĂșa Institute of Technology

Photobucket

Lyceum of the Philippines University.

Photobucket

Looking at these long establish specialize colleges & Universities. I could conclude that The Philippines's education system has got higher standards than we do in Malaysia.

p/s: Nothing is free in The Philippines. Everything needs a minimal fees.

Eve

Mabuhay to the The Philippines- Part 1

Kumusta! means Hello in Tagalog. Mabuhay means welcome in Tagalog. You get what Im talking about, right right?

Photobucket

Yes, im talking about The Philippines. After months of procrastinating It took me a while to sort out the photos though. :)

Photobucket

The mangoes tasted sweet & sour. Easily found in any supermarket. They have preserved ones too.

Photobucket

The rear of the truck caught my sight, show you later.

Photobucket

These Jeepneys are easily spotted around the city. Per ride is as cheap as 7 cents.

Photobucket

The downtown market. From imitation goods to household goods are easily found here at a affordable price.

Photobucket

Not to mention, included electrical goods can be found here.

Photobucket

China town market looks pretty much alike with the downtown markets.Philippines is crowded at which ever part of the city you are at.

Photobucket

The weather is slightly warmer than Malaysia.

Photobucket

Even clothing, accessories are to be found at a very good bargain. Its like the combination of night market + weekend market + car bunk sales + garage sales + mega sale.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The LRT. I forgot what i want to say about this already

Photobucket

Clean, big & longer

Photobucket

That's about it on downtown market. Part 2 upcoming.

Sibu,Sarawak aka Swan City

You've arrived Sibu town aka Swan city.

Famed of kompia, simple salted dough, baked in traditional open oven. Some say best ones are found at Tiong Hua Road & Taman Muhibbah. While i think its up to every individual's preferences of which best suit their taste.

Photobucket

Those who've been to Sibu, never fail to blog bout the town & its food.Try Google bout Sibu & food. You'll see a list of site sharing the same facts. Oh well, when you spotted pintu gerbang in the centre of the town. You ought to know you are in town already.

Photobucket

Sibu isn't much big a city itself, but population wise is!

Photobucket

For 1st comer, either on a budget or not. One thing in mind is a place to stay in town of cause. Cleanliness & securities wise are next question in line. You could opt for Garden hotel, which is just a walk away from town itself & the cheapest rate is less than RM50 while the twin rooms are slightly RM100 plus minus.Free wifi, hot water & served tastiest meals.

Photobucket

Premier hotel, which is just opposite Garden hotel. Price range are between RM160 - RM 200 plus minus for standard deluxe rooms. Free wifi, live band & next to the shopping mall [near McD too *yay* ]

Photobucket

Those whom prefers luxury comfort may opt for RH hotel. Which is just a walk distance from Wisma Sanyan. Toilets are as big as a store room, what more to say about the rooms. Minimum price for a standard room would be at least RM260 plus minus.

Photobucket

Le ark cafe gallery, it is a newly opened cafe which located at esplanade and it's just behind Li Hua hotel Sibu.

You can opt for either opt by air, land or water to get there. Either way, its cheap to travel around Sarawak. =)

How bout nightlife in sibu? I shall save that for another day, aight?
